‘Most tattooed woman’ to undergo ‘highly illegal’ procedure in Spain

Amber Luke’s body transformation is about to take another dramatic turn as the influencer travels overseas for a controversial procedure that is “highly illegal” in Australia.

Australia’s Amber Luke, better known to her followers as “Dragon Girl,” is no stranger to extreme transformations.

The 31-year-old influencer has spent an estimated $250,000 altering her appearance and now has more than 600 tattoos covering roughly 98% of her body, according to Channel Nine.

Alongside the extensive inkwork, Australia’s “most tattooed woman” has undergone a long list of modifications, including blue tattooed eyeballs, sharpened fang-like teeth, “mini horns” implanted in her forehead and a split snake tongue.

While her appearance often sparks debate, the Aussie has long argued that beauty is subjective and that everyone should be free to express themselves in their own way.

“Everyone has their own opinions of what beauty is,” Luke said on the Brisbane radio show Robin, Terry & Kip, per the Daily Mail. “You see these cultures [where people] stretch their necks, their ears, their lips. But at the end of the day, we all are entitled to our opinion and that’s okay.”

And it’s an approach that continues to guide her latest body modification plans.

Extreme modifications overseas

After flying nearly 10,000 miles from Australia to Barcelona, Luke revealed she intends to undergo two procedures that are either heavily restricted or effectively unavailable back home.

Luke shared details of the trip with her followers on social media, explaining that she was eager to finally move forward with procedures she had been planning for years.

“Australia has made them highly illegal for seven years. I’m about to get two body mods done. I am super f**king keen,” she said.

One of the modifications involves a silicone implant placed beneath the skin of her left hand.

Known as a subdermal implant, the procedure inserts a shaped piece of silicone under the skin, allowing the tissue to heal over it and create a raised design visible from the outside.

While similar implant technology is commonly used for medical purposes, such as contraceptive devices, cosmetic body-modification versions face far tighter restrictions in many countries.

Luke told followers she has chosen a bow-shaped implant for her hand and is already focused on the recovery process.

“The end result is obviously to have a nice implant, but obviously not let it heal all f**ked up,” she said. “That is going to be my mission while I’m in Barcelona just healing.”

Coin slot

The hand implant is only part of the trip.

Luke also plans to undergo a procedure known as a “coin slot,” a body modification that involves removing a small section of tissue from the ear before stitching the remaining edges together to create a permanent opening.

The modification gets its name from its resemblance to the slot found on a vending machine.

“I am getting a coin slot in my ear. They take a hole out of your helix that they put different earrings in and layer it,” Luke explained.

“And for the past year and a half I have planned to have this body mod in my hand, it is a silicone bow, I am very excited!”

Although coin slots are not outright banned in Australia, they are subject to strict regulation because they involve surgically removing tissue. In Spain, the procedure can be performed legally by licensed medical professionals.

Limited employment options

While her look has helped her build a large online following, she has also spoken candidly about the challenges she faces away from social media, particularly when it comes to employment.

“I’m not going to sugar coat it, it has limited my [employment] options but that’s okay,” the OnlyFans star said, per the Daily Mail.

“Because the way I see it is, I don’t want to work for a company that’s shallow-minded [and can’t] look past my image.

“They won’t look at my work ethic, they won’t look at my morals or my values or what I have to bring to the table.”

‘Proud of being’

Despite the criticism and health concerns surrounding some of her choices, Luke has made it clear that she is far from finished.

“The experience I went through made me extremely resilient and so strong. I have gained so much knowledge about anatomy,” she said.

“I’ve totally transformed myself into someone I’m proud of being. I’m a strong woman who knows exactly what she wants and who she is.”
