A sharp-eyed customer spotted the mistake and snapped a picture. Afterwards they posted the picture on Twitter where thousands of people saw the same thing they had and added to the hilarity of the situation. A user posted it asking people to find the ‘hidden word’ and how they wanted to get their hands on the shirt before Walmart realized the issue and recalled them.

As soon as the company got wind of this fact they immediately began damage control to make sure they were on top of everything. They issued a statement which clarified, “The shirt was only sold at Walmart Canada locations and has been removed from stores.”

However, the shirt still seemed to be available at their online retail store even after the company said it had been removed from their physical locations.

A lot of people found the situation quite hilarious and made jokes about the shirt.

It took some people a while to get the joke. “this took me longer to get than i’d like to admit…,” one user lamented.

While others said they wanted the shirt themselves.

“Bahahaha! Brillliant – I need one too,” one user wrote.

Overall, it seemed more people were amused by this oversight on Twitter than anything else.
