Glenn Close is now 78 years old and is thinking of her last few years on earth and how exactly she wants to spend them.

78-year-old Glenn Close just recently appeared in the latest Knives Out movie. She recently appeared on the podcast Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, where she made a shocking revelation for her fans. She shared what her plans were for her twilight years.
While death is a fact of life, a lot of people do not like to think about it. However, it seems Close has been thinking long and hard about her plans for the last few years of her life.
While the actress has not particularly thought about what would happen to her remains once she passes but more about the last few years or days she has on earth.
She recalled a stone cottage her parents had on their farm, a place where she associates a lot of fond memories of growing up.
“They had this wonderful stone cottage on their farm, on their property that I think originally had been a slaughterhouse,” she shared.
“But it was made into this really cozy cottage. And that was my first memory, in that little cottage,” she recalled.
She added, “Stone, it had ivy on the front. It had literally a white picket fence around it, in the middle of a hay field and woods.”
Close revealed her plans, she will make a stone cottage behind her house, ‘because the happiest and most inspiring years of my life was in that place’.
She will make it into a two-bedroom place, one for herself and the other one for a live-in carer whom she will employ to care for her in her final years.
“And that’s where I’m gonna die. Happily,” she said of her plans.
While she may be making plans for her final days, the 78-year-old said she does not feel her age at all.
She shared, “Oh God, I feel probably around in my 20s. Maybe early 30s.”
She shared how she was amazed by how old she actually is when she feels so much younger than she is in reality.
“When I think of how old I actually am, it just amazes me,” she shared. “So I don’t think about it much.
“Cause I don’t think i fit into whatever people expect you to be like when you’re 78 years old.”
