Candace Cameron breaks down on camera, cries as she can’t stop missing Full House co-star Bob Saget

When you work with someone for a long time, you inevitably develop a close bond with them. Similarly, Candace Cameron Bure had a deep relationship with most of her co-workers, especially from her initial projects.

Hence, when Bob Saget passed away, it really upset the actress because she grew up having developed a strong tie with him. Even though months have passed since his death, she is still mourning the loss.

Candace Cameron Bure basically grew up in front of all of America. She portrayed D.J. Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House. Her role is of the eldest child of Pam and Danny Tanner.

Bob Saget played her sitcom dad for over a decade and during the airing of the show, the two of them understandably had grown a close bond even in their relationship off-screen.

When the actor passed away, it was devastating for everyone who had been involved in the show and production of Full House and later the revival Fuller House. His co-stars made sure to pay tribute to him and even posted heartfelt messages on the news of his passing.

Candace Cameron Bure who played Saget’s daughter on the show was deeply affected by his death. She was distruaght at her loss. And even now, months from when it happened, she is still heartbroken about it.

She recently posted video stories of herself without any makeup, showing her raw emotions about Saget’s passing. She was teary eyed throughout the video, and opened up about how torn up she was feeling, with her constant feelings of missing Bob.

 “I don’t know why, but these last two days I haven’t stopped thinking about Bob,” she said during the video she posted on October 23. “He just keeps coming to my mind and I don’t know maybe it’s because I’m like in holiday mode and thinking about just family and friends and missing people because I’ve been away.”

She tearfully went on, saying, “But I just haven’t gotten him off my mind for these past two days and it just … it’s just made me sad. I know people say like it comes in waves … I’ve just had a big wave of Bob. I just … I miss him.”

She has been vocal about how much she misses Bob Saget and even wrote a heartfelt note to him when the news of his passing became public knowledge. She wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram saying, “My childhood is wrapped up in you, my formative teenaged years and the rest of adulthood. You taught me to feel deeply at such a young age. You were never afraid or ashamed to share your emotions, to cry, to love, to laugh and say it out loud.”

She went on, “We’ve always been so deeply connected since the day we met when I was 10 years old. You weren’t just like a father, but one of my closest friends in life. This hurts like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I love you, I love you, I love you. You knew that.”

Later on in June, she made a birthday post for the late actor. She wrote that she missed him and didn’t know whether she still should write ‘happy birthday.’ Her post went on to read, “Do I still say happy birthday? I don’t know how this works, but I’m celebrating you today however badly my heart hurts.”

Everyone from the cast and others who had known or worked with Bob Saget over the years took time to pay tribute to the legendary actor. It is clear his kindness and talent touched a lot of lives.
